Volunteer of the Month: Laura | October

This October, the 3rd & Goal Foundation is proud to recognize Laura as our Volunteer of the Month. For over five years, Laura has been a dedicated and passionate supporter of our mission to serve veterans in need not only as a volunteer, but also as a consistent donor and advocate.

Laura’s connection to our cause is deeply personal. With a father who is a Marine and Navy veteran, and several other family members who have served, Laura has seen firsthand the sacrifices veterans make and the challenges many of them face afterward. Her father is a 100% disabled veteran, and her experience supporting him alongside her family fuels her commitment to helping others in similar situations.

Over the years, Laura has contributed in countless ways including showing up to events, lending a hand during veteran outreach projects, and stepping up whenever help is needed. She especially values the moments where she gets to interact directly with veterans, witnessing the immediate impact of 3rd & Goal’s work.

But Laura’s generosity doesn’t stop there. She is also a consistent financial donor, and each holiday season, she goes above and beyond by purchasing items from our veteran wish lists ensuring those we serve feel remembered, appreciated, and supported.

We’re incredibly thankful to have Laura as part of the 3rd & Goal team. Her time, energy, and generosity help us extend our mission further and reach more veterans in need.
