At 3rd & Goal, we show our gratitude by creating joy in the lives of our veterans. We are committed to serving those who have served all of us, helping them forget their troubles and feel the care of a grateful community.

Our largest and signature Operation Joy initiative is Adopt a Hero, which brings the holiday spirit to hundreds of veterans and their families including homeless and formerly homeless veterans. This program provides gifts for children, clothing, hygiene products, laundry detergent, stockings, and more. 

Beyond Adopt a Hero, we continually find new ways to spread joy, such as serving meals, taking veterans to football games, providing VIP experiences, hosting shoe giveaways, and assembling snack and hygiene bags. These are just a few examples of how we lift up those who have given so much.

We rely on the support of local businesses and community groups to host donation drives for Operation Joy. Items always in demand include socks, non-perishable snacks, hygiene essentials, and toys. Join us in making the holidays and every day brighter for our heroes.
