16th Annual Blue Jacket Golf Outing Raises Record Funds for Veterans

What a day!

The 16th Annual Blue Jacket Golf Outing presented by UNL was one to remember. Despite the rain and weather that did not quite cooperate with us, our golfers showed up ready to support veterans in need. Together, we raised more than $212,000, making this our most successful Blue Jacket Golf Outing to date.

And while the weather may have shortened the day on the course, it certainly did not dampen the spirit of everyone who came out to support the mission.

This year’s Blue Jacket winner was Chopper Quinn. Congratulations, Chopper!

Most importantly, this event is about much more than golf. The funds raised through the Blue Jacket Golf Outing help 3rd & Goal Foundation continue serving veterans in need throughout the community through programs like Operation Education, Operation Joy and Operation Home.

We truly could not do this without the incredible people who make this event possible. To our sponsors, volunteers and golfers, thank you for showing up, giving generously and continuing to believe in the work we do. Your support allows us to continue making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families throughout Central Ohio.
