The 3rd & Goal Foundation is proud to unveil our refreshed logo identity, a modern evolution of our brand that reflects both our mission first focus and the next chapter in our growth.


After 15 years of serving veterans across the country, our roots have evolved. Education has become a central focus of our future, and our new logo symbolizes this direction honoring where we began while representing where we are headed.


As the foundation continues to expand its reach through Operation Education, the impact of our other programs Operation Home and Operation Joy remains equally vital. Together, these three pillars define our mission to serve, support, and empower veterans through every chapter of their journey.


At the heart of the design lies a subtle “3” within the pages of a book, a nod to our name and to the transformative power of education. The bold bookmark cutting through the center represents advancement toward a goal, a symbol of the tangible progress we strive to make in veterans’ lives every day. The bookmark’s form is also inspired by the military service ribbon, paying tribute to the heroes we serve.


“The refreshed identity expands beyond its academic symbolism, representing something larger: a mission-driven, community-anchored brand focused on creating meaningful impact in veterans’ lives,” said Kyle Courtright, Founder of Courtright Design. “The new identity and design system adapt naturally across touchpoints from signage at the Celebrity Golf Outing to Operation Education, Operation Joy, and Operation Home collateral.”


Built around the idea of progress with purpose, the new logo embodies both evolution and impact. The updated color palette introduces a vibrant, modern energy while preserving the strength and integrity of our history resulting in a mark that feels timeless, confident, and unmistakably 3rd & Goal.


Working closely with Courtright Design, our collaboration brought to life a brand identity that celebrates our past 15 years of service while clearly defining our path forward. We couldn’t be more excited to share this next chapter, one that reflects our continued dedication to improving the lives of veterans and their families through education, empowerment, and opportunity.
