Molly from Bishop Watterson High School completed her hours for her service project!
This sophomore has been coming to volunteer in our office for the last several months. She has been able to contribute significantly to our Adopt a Hero initiative. In addition, Molly has spent time serving meals at the homeless shelter for veterans and accompanying veterans on Operation Joy outreaches.
Here are the top 10 things Molly says she learned during her time with us:
1. The little gestures are the ones that mean the most 2. Kindness goes a long way 3. Details matter 4. Budgeting is very important to run a foundation 5. Going the extra mile is valued by others 6. Not all veterans are old, or look the way you expect 7. It is crucial to stay organized so you know what you have and what you need 8. Helping people is the most important thing you can do 9. Working to put a smile on someone elses face can put a smile on yours 10. Volunteering is fun!
We are so thankful that Molly chose 3rd & Goal for her service project.
