Rachel is a veteran of the US Navy. She and her husband are both teachers and were both laid off, this caused the family to experience homelessness. The couple and their four boys had been staying between friends houses for over 6 months. Together with the Case Managrs a HOPE South Florida they were able to get housing and regain their independence in early December. Rachel and her husband have already started working again and her children have been placed in childcare. The gifts provided through 3rd & Goal made this family very happy this Christmas.
